Health expert: COVID-19 nag-level up, mas nakakahawa

By Jan Escosio July 06, 2020 - 05:40 PM

“The D614G mutation makes the virus more infectious (mas nakakahawa). There is NO evidence it makes it more deadly or virulent (mas nakakamatay). However, it can spread faster and overwhelm our healthcare system if we don’t double our control efforts and so it can lead to a higher number of overall deaths if we do not properly manage the number of infections. Wear a mask, physical distance and strictly follow minimum healthcare protocols. The virus leveled up. We have to level up as well,” post ni Dr. Edsel Salvana sa Facebook.

“We must all be meticulous with our compliance or [it’s] back to ECQ and many people will die from the virus or starve. No time for fighting among ourselves. Man versus virus. We can do this if we all work together,” aniya.
