Guidelines para sa virus-resistant evacuation centers, ipinalalatag sa NDRRMC

Dahil panahon na naman ng malalakas na ulan at bagyo, hinimok ni Deputy Speaker Johnny Pimentel sa National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) na gumawa ng bagong template para sa emergency evacuation centers na resistant sa COVID-19.

Paliwanag ni Pimentel, importanteng isaalang-alang na hindi kumalat ang virus kung kinakailangang maglikas ng mga tao dahil sa baha.

Sabi ng kongresista, hindi na uubra ang dating sitwasyon na siksikan ang evacuees sa mga paaralan at gymnasiums.

Para maging virus-resistant, kailangan aniyang mas kakaunti ang tao sa evacuation centers para merong pagitan sa mga makeshift tent at dapat nakahiwalay din ang lugar para sa matatanda at iyong mayroong health conditions.

Dagdag pa ng mambabatas, dapat kumpleto rin ang evacuation centers ng mga pasilidad gaya ng hugasan ng kamay, comfort rooms at sapat na supplies ng face masks.

Importante rin aniyang palagiang ma-disinfect ang lugar at gawing contactless ang pamamahagi ng pagkain.
