Health minister ng New Zealand nagbitiw sa pwesto

Tinanggap na ni Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern ang pagbibitiw sa pwesto ng health minister ng New Zealand na si David Clark.

Sa kaniyang pagbibitiw sinabi ni Clark na isang “extraordinary privilege” ang manilbihan sa pamahalaan.

Si Clark ay dati nang nag-alok ng kaniyang resignation nang maging kontrobersyal ang pagpunta niya sa beach sa kasagsagan ng lockdown.

Pero hindi muna ito tinanggap ni Ardern dahil nasa kasagsagan sila ng paglaban sa COVID-19.

Ngayong wala nang community transmission ng sakit sa New Zealand, itinuloy na ni Clark ang pagbibitiw.

Pinasalamatan naman nito ang mga frontline health workers at lahat ng mamamayan na nagsakripisyo.

Sa kaniyang pahayag sinabi ng Prime Minister itinatalaga niya Chris Hipkins biang bagong Health Minister.
