PNP tiniyak ang pakikipagtulungan sa imbestigasyon ng NBI sa pagkasawi ng apat na sundalo sa Sulu

Tiniyak ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na makikipagtulungan ito sa imbestigasyon ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa pagkamatay ng apat na sundalo sa police checkpoint sa Jolo, Sulu.

Sa kaniyang pahayag, sinabi ni PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac na bilang administrative action, lahat ng sangkot na pulis sa insidente partikular ang mga mula sa Jolo Municipal Police Station ay
“restricted to quarters” na.

Inatasan na din ang Regional Director sa Police Regional Office-BAR (Bangsamoro Administrative Region) na si Police Brigadier General Manuel Abu na makipagtulungan sa NBI.

Kasabay nito ay nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang PNP sa pagkasawi ng apat na sundalo.

“The PNP leadership extends its deepest condolences to the family and colleagues of two Philippine Army officers and two enlisted men who died in the unfortunate misencounter with PNP personnel in Jolo, Sulu,” ayon kay Banac.

Una nang iniutos ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na madisarmahan ang mga sangkot na pulis.
