Apat na sundalo nasawi sa police checkpoint sa Sulu
Kinumpirma ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang pagkasawi ng apat na sundalo sa isang checkpoint Sitio Marina, Barangay Walled City, Jolo, Sulu.
Ayon kay AFP-Western Mindanao Command chief, Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana, mayroong huwalay na operasyon sa lugar ang mga sundalo nang mangyari ang insidente.
Sa inisyal na report ng 11th Infantry Division ng Philippine Army, kabilang sa killed-in-action ay sina Maj. Marvvin Indamog, Capt. Iriwin Managuelod, Sgt. Eric Velasco at Cpl. Abdal Asula.
Batay naman sa ulat ni Philippine National Police-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PNP-BARMM) Spokesperson Police Major Jemar Delos Santos, lulan ng Montero ang apat na armadong mga lalaki.
Hinarang ang mga ito sa checkpoint at nagpakilalang mga sundalo.
Pero nang atasan na magtungo sa Jolo Municipal Police Station para sa beripikasyon ay tumakas ang apat.
Doon na nagkaroon ng engkwentro na ikinasawi ng mga sundalo.
Patuloy pa ang pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa insidente.
