DILG kakasuhan ang organizers ng piyesta sa isang barangay sa Cebu City

Magsasampa ng kaso ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa mga organizer ng piyesta sa isang barangay sa Cebu City.

Ayon kay DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, nagdiwang ng piyesta sa Brgy. Basak San Nicolas habang umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine sa buong Cebu City.

Daan-daang katao ang nagtipon nitong nagdaang weekend sa Sitio Alumnos, Barangay Basak San Nicolas para sa prusisyon na bahagi ng selebrasyon ng piyesta.

Pagpapaliwanagin din ayon kay Año ang barangay captain at police officers na nakatalaga sa lugar.

Iniimbestigihan na ng Cebu City police ang nangyari.

Ayon naman sa mga opisyal ng barangay, hindi sila ang nag-organisa ng event.
