DOH, AFP nagpadala ng dagdag na mga doktor sa Cebu City

Nagpadala ng dagdag na mga doktor ang Department of Health (DOH) sa rural areas sa Western Visayas maging sa Cebu City.

Abot sa 40 doktor sa ilalim ng Doctor to the Barrios program (DTTB) at Post-Residency Deployment Program (PRDP) ng DOH ang pansamantalang inalis sa area of assignments nila at ipinadala sa Cebu City.

Ayon kay Marlyn Convocar, DOH director for Western Visayas ito ay bilang pagtalima sa liham ni Health Undersecretary Abdullah Dumama Jr.

29 sa mga doktor ay sa ilalim ng DTTB at 11 sa ilalim ng PRDP.

Maging ang Armed Forces of the Philippines ay nagpadala din ng 32 nilang health workers sa Cebu City.

Mayroon nang siyam na doktor ng AFP, 10 nurse at 13 medical aides ang dinala sa Cebu City lulan ng C130 aircraft.
