Itinigil na ng National Task Force Against the New Coronavirus Disease (NTF COVID-19) ang pag-iisyu ng travel authority sa mga local stranded individual na patungo ng Negros Occidental at Iloilo.
Ayon kay Defense Secretary at NTF COVID-19 Chairman Delfin Lorenzana, nagsimula ang suspension order sa araw ng Linggo, June 28.
Dalawang linggo aniya na tatagal ang suspension order.
Ayon kay Lorenzana, itinigil ang pagpapauwi sa mga LSI dahil sila ang nagiging carrier ng COVID-19 sa mga probinsya.
Bukod dito, sinabi ni Lorenzana na ang mga local government official na rin ang humirit na itigilang pagpaoauwi sa mga LSI.
