P99.67-M halaga ng shabu, nasabat ng PNP sa isang linggo
Nasamsam ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang 7,606.69 gramo ng shabu at 239,500 fully-grown Marijuana plants sa 25 magkakahiwalay na operasyon sa bansa sa nakalipas na isang linggo.
Ayon sa PNP Public Information Office, nagkakahalaga ang mga nakuhang ilegal na droga ng P99.672 milyon.
Nagresulta rin ang pinaigting na anti-illegal drugs operations sa pagkakahuli sa 51 drug suspects.
Ayon kay PNP Chief General Archie Gamboa, patuloy pa rin ang kanilang operasyon kahit karamihan sa mga lugar sa bansa ay nakasailalim sa general community quarantine (GCQ).
“The PNP has been consistent in its warning. No let up in the pursuit of criminals. Our recent accomplishments nationwide validate the PNP’s determination to eradicate threats to the public’s safety and security,” pahayag ni Gamboa.
Simula June 1, umabot na sa P8.432 bilyong halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group katuwang ang local police units at PDEA.
