Pinasinayaan na ang Philippine Red Cross (PRC) – Port Area Molecular Laboratory, araw ng Sabado (June 27).

Sa Twitter, sinabi ni Senator Richard Gordon na ito ang pinakamalaking molecular laboratory sa bansa.

Kaya aniya nitong makapagsagawa ng 14,000 tests kada araw.

Sa pagpapalawig nito, may kapasidad na ang PRC na magsuri ng 22,000 samples sa isang araw sa Metro Manila.

Dumalo sa inagurasyon sina Health Secretary Francisco Duque, IATF Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez, IATF Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon, at PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales.

Dumalo rin sina H.E. Steven Robinson AO (Ambassador of the Australian Embassy in the Philippines), Alfred Ty (GT Fdn Pres. at trustee ng Metrobank Fdn), at Henry Bon Liong, (Pres. ng Fdn of the Fil-Chi Chamber Of Commerce) na nag-donate ng equipment para sa naturang laboratoryo.
