Welcome para sa Department of Education (DepEd) welcomes ang pagkakapasa ng Republic Act 11476 o ang Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) and Values Education Act.
Nagpasalamat ang DepEd kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at sa mga mambabatas na nagsulong ng GMRC law.
Makatutulong ito ayon sa DepEd sa pag-empower sa mga kabataan para sa mag-ambag sa nation-building habang napoprotektahan ang kanilang physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, at social well-being.
Bagaman may mga aralin tungkol GMRC at Values Education sa ilalim ng K to 12 curriculum, malaking bagay na naisabatas ang RA 11476 ayon sa DepEd.
“With this law, and our nation’s aspiration to guide our youth to the right path, we look forward to raising more Filipinos who are Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa,” ayon sa pahayag ng DepEd.
