Philhealth President Morales maaaring makasuhan ng kriminal kapag hindi ipinatupad ang Universal Health Care Law

Tiniyak ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na kasong kriminal ang kakaharapin ni Philhealth President Ricardo Morales kung hindi ipatutupad ang Universal Health Care Law.

Pahayag ito ng Palasyo sa gitna ng pakiusap ni Morales nanipagpaliban na muna ang implementasyon ng batas sa pangambang masaid ang pondo ng Philhealth.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, wala sa diskresyon ni Morales ang pagpapasya kung ipatutupad o hindi ang batas.

Hindi lang aniya pagkasibak sa puwesto ang kakaharapin ni Morales kundi malilitis din ito sa kaso dahil hindi maaring suwayin ninuman ang batas na ipinasa ng kongreso.

Hindi na aniya dapat na problemahin ni Morales kung sakaling masaid ang pondo ng Philhealth dahil maari naman siyang lumapit sa kongreso.

Maari rin aniyang i-certify as urgent ni Pangulong Duterte ang hirit na dagdag pondo.
