Full operation ng mga salon at barber shop ipinarerekonsidera ni Rep.Taduran

Ipinarerekonsidera ni House Asst. Majority Leader at ACT-CIS Rep. Niña Taduran sa Department of Health (DOH) at sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang kanilang pasya na limitahan lamang ang operasyon ng mga salon at barber shop sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ).

Sabi ni Taduran, mas malaki ang nawawalang kita ng mga may-ari ng salon at barber shop gayundin ang mga empleyado dahil limitado lamang sa paggugupit ang kanilang serbisyo.

Bukod dito, marami rin aniya sa kanilang mga kliyente ay senior citizens na hindi pinapayagang pumunta sa mga salon at barber shop.

“I know that the government, particularly the Health Department, is just concerned that staying in public places for long hours is a great risk for Covid-19 exposure. But if proper disinfection, wearing of personal protective equipment and social distancing are implemented, the risk will be lower,” ayon kay Taduran.

Sinabi ng mambabatas na mas malaki pa ang panganib kapag ang mga salon workers ay nagsasagawa na lang ng home service sa kanilang mga kliyente na hindi pinapayagang makapunta sa kanilang salon o nangangailangan ng dagdag na serbisyo tulad ng pagkulay ng buhok.
