Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino inireklamo ng DILG dahil sa paglabag sa IATF protocols

Sinampahan ng reklamo ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) si Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. dahil sa paglabag umano sa protocols na itinakda ng Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).

Ayon kay DILG spokesman at Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya may mga itinakda na quarantine rules si Paulino na lumalabag sa guidelines ng IATF.

Noong Abril nagpalabas na ng show cause order ang DILG kay Paulino nang magkaroon ng pagtitipon ang mga residente at malabag ang physical distancing rules para sa pamamahagi ng social amelioration program.

Noong May 21 naman naglabas ng Executive Order si Paulino kung saan pinapayagan nito ang pag-aangkas sa motorsiklo.

Mayroon pang inilabas na pecial pass ang LGU ng Olongapo City para mapayagan ang pag-aangkas.

May 25 nang suspindihin ni Paulino sa bisa din ng Executive Order ang naturang kautusan.

Ayon kay Malaya isinampa na sa Office of the Ombudsman ang reklamong paglabag sa Bayanihan Act, paglabag sa Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act at open disobedience sa ilalim ng Article 231 ng Revised Penal Code laban kay Paulino.
