National Public Health Emergency Council dapat itatag ng gobyerno

Pinaglalatag ni House Assistant Majority Leader at Quezon City Rep. Anthony Peter Crisologo ang pamahalaan na magtatag ng national public health emergencies council.

Sa ilalim ng House Bill 6719, lilikha ng isang government body na ang focus ay para ihanda ang bansa na harapin ang mga health emergencies katulad sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Binibigyan din ng mandato ang council na pakilusin ang lahat ng ahensya para sa makontrol at mapigilan ang epekto ng health crisis sa bansa.

Nakita anya sa nangyaring pandemya ngayon na malaking hamon para sa kapasidad ng pamahalaan na tugunan ang ganitong klase ng public health emergency kung saan nakita ang mga pagkukulang na kinakailangang remedyuhan para mas maging epektibo ang crisis management strategy ng bansa sa mga biglang uusbong na sakit.

Naniniwala ang mambabatas na epektibong tool ito para ma-i-angat ang antas ng paghahanda, data gathering at assessment sa sitwasyon tuwing panahon ng health crisis.

Kapag may national crisis anya ay umaasa ang mga Pilipino sa kahandaan ng pamahalaan kaya dapat na paigtingin ang response, tiyakin na epektibo, namomonitor at may regular na evaluation sa umiiral na strategic plans laban sa sakit.
