Lockdown ipinatupad sa isang construction site sa BGC Taguig; 6 na construction workers nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Isinailalim sa localized lockdown ang isang construction site sa Bonifacio Global City sa Taguig.

Ito ay makaraang anim sa construction workers nito ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Sa pahayag ng Taguig City LGU, sinimulan ang lockdown kahapon at tatagal hanggang sa July 7.

Habang umiiral ang lockdown, ang lahat ng empleyado ng construction site ay isasailalim sa quarantine at masusing babantayan ang kanilang kondisyon.

Simula din kahapon wala nang pinayagang lumabas at pumasok sa construction site at kinordonan na ang lugar.

Noong June 18, natukoy ng City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU) ang pagkakaroon ng lagnat ng ilang manggagawa sa construction site.

Dahil dito isinailalim sila sa COVID-19 test at sa 27 suspect cases anim ang positibo sa sakit base sa resulta na lumabas kahapon.

May mga manggagawa din na mayroong dengue, typhoid at zika virus.

Hindi naman tinukoy ng Taguig City government ang kumpanya ng construction site bilang proteksyon sa right to privacy nito at kanilang mga empleyado.
