Ridership ng Libreng Sakay program ng DOTr para sa health workers, umabot na sa 1.2-M
Umabot na sa mahigit isang milyon ang bilang ng health workers na naserbisyuhan ng “Libreng Sakay” program ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).
Sa datos ng kagawaran hanggang June 22, nasa kabuuang 1,203,177 health workers ang ridership ng programa.
Sa nasabing bilang, 348,092 ang total ridership sa National Capital Region-Greater Manila habang 855,085 naman sa iba pang rehiyon.
Samantala, sa datos naman ng Road Sector, umabot na sa 168 vehicle units ang naka-deploy para sa libreng sakay program hanggang June 22.
Katuwang ng DOTr sa naturang programa ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Katuwang din ng DOTr sa programa ang oil companies tulad ng Phoenix Petroleum, CleanFuel, at Petron sa pagbibigay ng fuel subsidy sa transport companies na kasama sa programa.
