DENR Sec. Roy Cimatu inatasan ni Pangulong Duterte na pangasiwaan ang pagtugon sa COVID-19 sa Cebu City
Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Environment Sec. Roy Cimatu na pangasiwaan ang pagtugon sa problema sa COVID-19 sa Cebu City.
Sa kaniyang televised speech, sinabi ng pangulo na magsisilbing “adjunct” official si Cimatu ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
Si Cimatu ay dating hepe ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Kay Cimatu aniya magmumula ang mga payo at rekomendasyon sa IATF kung ano ang mga dapat na ipatupad sa Cebu City para matugunan ang pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19.
Kasabay nito ay hiniling ng pangulo sa Department of Health, Department of the Interior and Local Government, at sa National Task Force against COVID-19 na asistihan si Cimatu sa kaniyang tungkulin.
