Ilocos Sur niyanig ng M5.0 na lindol
(UPDATE) Niyanig ng magnitude 5.0 na lindol ang lalawigan ng Ilocos Sur.
Ayon sa Phivolcs, naitala ang pagyanig sa 88 kilometers northwest ng Candon City, alas-4:02 ng hapon ng Lunes (June 22).
May lalim lang na 4 kilometers ang lindol at tectonic ang origin nito.
Naitala ang sumusunod na intensities:
Intensity IV- Candon City, Ilocos Sur
Intensity III- Vigan City, Sinait, Santa and Magsingal, Sta. Lucia, Santa Maria, Sta. Cruz, San Esteban, Ilocos Sur; San Fernando City, La Union
Intensity II- Cabugao, San Juan, Bantay, San Ildefonso, Narvacan, Nagbukel, Tagudin, Burgos, Santiago, Sigay, Suyo, Ilocos Sur
Banna, Bacarra, Laoag City, and Batac Ilocos Norte
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity III – Vigan City
Intensity II – Sinait, Ilocos Sur
Intensity I – Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte
Hindi naman ito inaasahang magdudulot ng pinsala at pero ayon sa Phivolcs maaring magkaroon ng aftershocks.
