Arestado ang walong katao dahil sa ilegal na pagsusugal sa San Jose City sa Nueva Ecija.
Ayon kay Police Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno, chief of police ng San Jose City, ikinasa ang Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation sa Brgy. Abar 2nd.
Doon naaresto ang walong suspek na nahuli habang naglalaro ng illegal card game na ‘Pusoy’.
Kabilang sa nadakip ayon kay Bruno ang isang 4Ps beneficiary at 4 na SAP beneficiaries.
Nakumpiska sa operasyon ang dalawang set ng baraha, at bet money na aabot sa P1,957 ang halaga.
Mahaharap sila sa kasong paglabag sa PD 1602.
