Modern PUVs papayagan nang bumiyahe sa 15 ruta sa Metro Manila simula ngayong araw
Simula ngayong araw papayagan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board o LTFRB na makabiyahe sa ilang bahagi ng Metro Manila ang mga modern Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs).
Sa memorandum circular ng LTFRB, ang mga modern PUJs na nakatugon sa itinatakda ng Omnibus Franchising Guidelines (OFG) ay makakabiyahe na sa labinglimang ruta sa NCR mula ngayong araw.
Narito ang mga ruta sa Metro Manila kung saan bibiyahe na ang mga modern PUjs:
1. Novaliches – Malinta via Paso de Blas
2. Bagumbayan Taguig – Pasig via San Joaquin
3. Fort Bonifacio Gate 3 – Guadalupe-Market Market-ABC Loop Service
4. Pandacan – Leon Guinto
5. Quezon Avenue – LRT 5th Avenue Station
6. Cubao (Diamond) – Roces Super Palengke
7. EDSA Buendia-Mandaluyong City Hall via Jupiter, Rockwell
8. Divisoria-Gasak via H. Lopez
9. Punta-Quiapo via Sta. Ana
10. Boni Pinatubo – Stop and Shop, vice versa
11. Boni Robinson’s Complex-Kalentong/JRC vice versa
12. Nichols-Vito Cruz
13. Filinvest City Loop
14. Alabang Town Center (ATC)-Ayala Alabang Village
15. Vito Cruz Taft Avenue-PITX Loop Service
Simula namn sa June 24 at sa June 26, magbubukas ng dagdag na labingsiyam pang ruta ang LTRFB para sa modern PUVs.

8. PITX – Nichols
9. PITX – SM Southmall
(June 26)
1. Quirino Highway – UP Town Center
2. SM Fairview – Commonwealth via Regalado Ave.
3. QMC Loop
4. Tikling – Binangonan
5. Antipolo – Pasig via East Bank Road
6. Rosario – Pinagbuhatan Pasig
7. West Aveune – P. Noval via Del Monte
8. Biñan – Balibago via Manila South Road
9. Tramo – Sucat
10. San Isidro – Congressional Junction Dasmarinas
Maliban sa pagiging OFG compliant, ang mga modern jeepneys na bibiyahe habang umiira ang general community quarantine ay dapat rehistrado at mayroong valid personal passenger insurance policies.
Dapat din na ang modern jeepneys ay mayroong GNSS (global navigation satellite system) o global positioning system.
Ipatutupad din ang cashless fare payments sa mga bibiyaheng modern jeepneys.
Ang mga driver at konduktor at mga pasahero ay dapat magsuot lagi ng face masks, dapat mayroong disinfecting foot bath para sa mga pasahero, at pairalin ang physical distancing.
