Philippine Red Cross, tutulong sa nasusunog na oil depot ng Phoenix Petroleum sa Batangas
Nagpadala na ang Philippine Red Cross ng mga volunteers na magbibigay ng tulong sa nagpapatuloy na sunog sa isang LPG facility sa Calaca, Batangas.
Ayon PRC, nagpadala na sila ng dalawang ambulansya na may sampung crew, dalawang water tankers at dalawang fire trucks sa nasusunog na oil depot ng Phoenix Petroterminals & Industrial Park in Barangay Puting Bato West.
Nagtayo na rin ang PRC ng first aid station sa industrial park upang agad matutugunan ang mga nangangailangan ng paunang lunas.
Una nang inilikas ang aabot sa mahigit isandaang pamilya na naninirahan malapit sa LPG facility.
Ayon kay Lito Castro ng provincial disaster risk reduction and management office ng Batangas, umabot sa apatnapu’t tatlong firetrucks ang rumesponde sa naturang sunog.
