Aabot sa 11.2 tonelada ng unsafe imported goods ang sinira ng Bureau of Customs (BOC).
Ayon kay Bureau of Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, hindi na ligtas para kainin ang mga imported na produkto.
Bukod sa food products, sinira rin ng BOC ang mga gamot at chemical na walang clearance mula sa Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Sinira ang mga imported na produkto para ma-decongest ang mga warehouse sa BOC.
Nangako naman si Guerrero na patuloy na babantayan ang mga border sa bansa para hindi makapasok ang nga kontrabando.
