DepEd enrollees halos 13 milyon na

Inanunsyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) na simula noong unang araw ng kasalukuyang buwan, umaabot na sa halos 13 milyon ang nagpa-enroll, mula Kindergarten hanggang Grade 12, para sa Academic Year 2020 – 2021.

Hanggang alas 5:30 ng hapon ng Biyernes, June 19 ay umabot na sa 12,960,131 ang total number of enrollees.

Sa naturang bilang 12,518,200 ang nag-enroll sa mga public schools at 432,915 naman ang nagpa-rehistro sa private schools.

Kasama sa mga nagpa-enroll ay ang mga sasailalim sa Alternative Learning System at non-graded learners with disabilities.

Base sa datos ng DepEd, 5,505, 252 ang nagpa-enroll sa elementarya; 3,723,633 sa junior high school; 1,249,966 naman sa senior high school at 661,907 sa kindergarten.

Simula noong Hunyo 1, nagpatupad na ang kagawaran ng remote enrollment sa pamamagitan ng mga alternatibong pamamaraan, kung saan hindi na kinakailangan pang magtungo ang estudyante o magulang sa mga paaralan.

Noong nakaraang Martes, sinimulan na rin ng DepEd ang paglalagay ng drop box at kiosks sa mga barangay hall at eskuwelahan para kumuha at maghulog ng enrollment documents gayundin ng Learner Enrollment and Survey Form (LESF).
