Barko ng China na ginagamit sa ‘dredging’ sumadsad sa Zambales
Sumadsad sa baybayin na sakop ng Botolan, Zambales ang isang Chinese dredger.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) nag-deploy na ng team ang
Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) para magsagawa ng survey at inspeksyon sa sumadsad na dredger.
Ang MV Zhong Hai 69 Alfa na isang Chinese-registered dredger ay sumadsad sa baybayin ng Barangay Bangan.
Pinasok na ng tubig ang engine room at compartments ng barko.
Magsasagawa ng salvage operations ang coast guard para maialis sa lugar ang barko.
Ayon sa PCG – Zambales wala namang senyales ng oil leak mula sa dredger.
Tiniyak naman ni PCG Commandant George Ursabia na ang coast guard ang mamamahala sa salvaging at patuloy na babantayan ang sitwasyon.
