Sabi ni Enrile, “The facilities of the entire ABS-CBN complex, broadcast complex, were placed under the control of the government. The title of all of these facilities was never transferred to the government. They remained with the owners”.

Dagdag nito, “We closed channel 2, the entire facilities of ABS-CBN, ch 5, ch 4, channel 7, ch 9, ch 13, ch 11. All the radio stations throughout the land in order to control the situation so that there will be no reaction or opposition for the declaration of Martial Law”.
