Operasyon ng LTO Central Office, sinuspinde matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang 12 empleyado

Sinuspinde ng Land Transportaion Office (LTO) Central Office at Quezon City Licensing Office ang operasyon nito simula 12:00, Miyerkules ng tanghali (June 17).

Ito ay matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19 test ang 12 nitong empleyado.

Ayon kay LTO Chief Edgar Galvante, magkakaroon ng pag-disinfect sa kanilang pasilidad hanggang Biyernes ng hapon, June 19, upang matiyak na hindi kumalat ang sakit.

Sabi ni Asec. Galvante, “The health and safety of our employees, as well as those of the public whom we are serving is important. We have suspended operations in order to make sure that the threat of spreading the Coronavirus at our offices is contained. We are now conducting disinfection as well as further testing on all of our employees.”

Nabatid na nagsagawa ng rapid test ang LTO sa nasa 100 nilang empleyado kung saan sa mga nasuri, 12 ang lumabas na positibo sa COVID-19.

Ang mga nasabing empleyado, ayon kay Galvante ay sumailalim na sa RT-PCR at hinihintay na lamang ang resulta.

Dahil dito, lahat ng mga empleyado ng LTO central office at Quezon City Licensing Office ay isasailalim sa COVID-19 testing sa Huwebes, June 18.

Magbabalik ang operasyon ng mga nasabing tanggapan sa Lunes, June 22, 2020.
