Umuwing OFW panibadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental

Isang umuwing overseas Filipino worker (OFW) ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 sa Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.

Ito ang ikalawang kaso ng COVID-19 sa Oroquieta City.

Ayon kay Oroquieta City Mayor Lemuel Acosta ang babaeng OFW ay dumating sa Manila galing Dubai noong June 3 at nagnegatibo sa swab test negative.

June 10 nang bumiyahe na ito patungong Laguindingan Airport sa Misamis Oriental at nanatili sa Cagayan de Oro City hanggang June 11.

Dumating sa Misamis Occidental ang OFW noong June 12 kung saan agad siyang isinailalim sa quarantine sa isang government-run isolation facility.

Noong June 14 ay nakaranas ito ng sintomas kaya agad inilipat sa ospital sa Ozamiz City.

Nagsasagawa na ng contact tracing sa posibleng mga nakasalamuha ng OFW.

Noong June 11 nang maitala ang unang akso ng COVID-19 sa lungsod na isang locally stranded individual galing Cebu.
