17 pamilya sa Catmon, Cebu isinailalim sa quarantine

Mayroong 17 pamilya sa bayan ng Catmon sa lalawigan ng Cebu ang nakasailalim ngayong sa home quarantine matapos na isang residente doon ang nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Ang pasyente ay isang 42-anyos na lalaki na mula sa Barangay San Jose at nagtatrabaho sa Lapu-Lapu City.

Dinala na sa Bayanihan Field Center sa Cebu City ang pasyente.

Ayon kay Catmon Mayor Irish Gestopa, nakaranas ng lagnat ang pasyente simula May 31 at umuwi sa Catmon noong June 4.

Noong Sabado, June 13 nang lumabas ang COVID-19 test result niya na siya ay positibo sa sakit.

Sa isinagawang contact tracing, natukoy na nakasalamuha ng pasyente ang kaniyang pamilya, at mga kapitbahay.

Nagtalaga ang lokal na pamahalaan ng mga tauhan na 24 na oras magbabantay sa mga pamilyang naka-quarantine.
