Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si dating ACTS OFW Partylist Representative Aniceto dela Rosa Bertiz III bilang Deputy Director-General ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Ito ang kinumpirma ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque.
“We hope that everyone would support DDG Bertiz as he begins his new assignment in this extraordinary time,” pahayag ni Roque.
Ayon kay Roque, malaki ang papel na gagampanan ni Bertiz sa mga umuwing overseas Filipino workers kagaya ng pagbibigay ng technical education and skills development.
Matatandaang naging kontrobersyal si Bertiz matapos mag-viral ang video na hina-harass ang ilang tauhan ng Office of Transportation Security (OTS) sa airport nang hilingin na tanggalin ang sapatos sa final screening area bilang bahagi ng security protocol.
