Guilty verdict kay Maria Ressa, ‘failure of justice’ ayon sa Rappler

Tinawag na ‘failure of justice’ ng kumpanyang Rappler ang hatol na guilty ng korte kay Rappler CEO Maria Ressa at dating researcher-writer na si Rey Santos Jr.

Ayon sa pahayag ng Rappler ang hatol na guilty sa dalawa ay maituturing na “dangerous precedent” hindi lamang para sa mga mamamahayag kundi sa sa lahat ng nasa ng online.

Maituturing din umano itong ‘failure of democracy’.

Ang nangyari ayon sa Rappler ay malaking banta sa democratic rights ng mamamayan.
