Isang memorandum of agreement ang nilagdaan na ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) at Bureau of Treasury, Development Bank of the Philippines at PayMaya.
Ito ay para mapadali ang tax collection sa bansa.
Sa naturang kasunduan, magiging online payment ang collection, transmittal, at remittance ng BOC fees at iba pa.
Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 8792 o E-Commerce Act of 2000, target nitong mapadali ang pagbabayad ng buwis sa pamahalaan.
Tiniyak naman ng BOC na patuloy na magbibigay ng maayos na serbisyo para masiguro na hindi mapuputol ang supply chain sa bansa habang may kinakaharap na krisis sa COVID-19.
