Mayor ng Lapu-Lapu City positibo sa COVID-19
Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan.
Inanunsyo ito mismo ni Chan sa kaniyang Facebook page.
Ayon kay Chan, kahit gaano siya kaingat ay dinapuan pa din siya ng virus.
Bagaman maingat at ayaw umano niyang madapuan siya ng sakit, ay hindi namimili ng tatamaan ang COVID-19.
“Although we realize that we are trying to avoid covid-19, we are still getting caught with that pain. I’ll change, I’m positive on covid-19. I don’t want to get this virus but it doesn’t choose and we don’t add it because the opponent can’t be seen,” ayon kay Chan.
Kumpiyansa naman si Chan na mapaglalabanan niya ito at makaka-recover siya sa sakit.
Ayon kay Chan, siya ay asymptomatic at magpapatuloy ang pag-serbisyo niya bilang alkalde ng lungsod.
Habang nagpapagaling at naka home quarantine ay dadalo aniya niya sa virtual meetings at magiging aktibo sa social media.
