Malakanyang nagpaabot ng pakikiramay sa pamilya ng ginang na nasawi sa Pasay matapos ma-stranded

Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa pamilya ni Michelle Silvertino, ang ginang na na-stranded at hindi nakauwi sa Bicol dahil inabutan ng lockdown bunsod ng COVID-19.

Binawian ng buhay si Silvertino sa Pasay City matapos ang limang araw na paghihintay ng masasakyang bus pauwi.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nakipag-ugnayan na ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa kanilang field office para matulungan ang pamilya ni Silvertino.

“Nakikiramay po kami doon sa pamilya ni Michelle Silvertino na binawian ng buhay habang naghihintay ng masasakyan pauwi sa probinsya. Nakipag-coordinate na po ang DSWD sa kanilang field office para ma-assist ang pamilya ni Michell,” pahayag ni Roque.

May ginagawa nang pamamaraan ang pamahalaan para hindi na maulit ang naturang insidente.

“Wala pong gustong mangyari ito pero gagawa na po tayo ng paraan para hindi na po maulit ang nangyari kay Michelle,” pahayag ni Roque.
