Makalipas ang 40-araw na pagiging COVID-19 free, lalawigan ng Cagayan muling nakapagtala ng 2 kaso ng sakit

Makalipas ng mahigit 40-araw na pagiging COVID-19 free ng lalawigan ng Cagayan ay muli itong nakapagtala ng dalawang (2) bagong kaso ng sakit.

Ayon kay Dr. Carlos Cortina ng Provincial Health Office (PHO), dalawang panibagong kaso ng COVID-19 ang naitala sa Cagayan matapos ang mahigit isa’t kalahating buwan na wala itong naitatalang kaso ng virus.

Ang isang kaso ay 21-anyos na babae na nakatira sa Brgy. Naguilian, Lal-lo at duamting sa Cagayan galing ng Cordon, Isabela nitong May 27.

Ang isa pang kaso ay isang 30-anyos na lalaki na residente ng Brgy. Tupang, Alcala at umuwi doon mula sa Pasay City noong June 8.

Nasa quarantine area ng Lal-lo at Alcala ang dalawang pasyente at nakatakdang ililipat sa Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CMC).
