Nasamsam ng mga tauhan ng Quezon City Police District Station 10 ang mahigit-kumulang P200,000 halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa Quezon City, Sabado ng gabi (June 6).
Sa ulat ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), isinagawa ang buy-bust operation sa bahagi ng Sct., Santiago St corner Don Roces Avenue, Barangay Obrero bandang 7:20 ng gabi.
Naisagawa ang operasyon sa tulong ng nakuhang tip mula sa confidential informant at kasunod ng ikinasang case build up, monitoring at surveillance katuwang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Nagresulta ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto kay Ivan Lenard Gamboa, 29-anyos na residente ng Taguig City.
Nahuli ang suspek matapos magpanggap na poseur buyer ng isang pulis sa operasyon.
Nakuha sa suspek ang anim na medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu.
Tinatayang may estimated value ang ilegal na droga ng P204,000.
Maliban dito, nakuha rin ang ginamit na buy-bust money, isang pulang pouch, tatlong piraso ng P100 bill at isang cell phone.
Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
