DOJ iniutos ang imbestigasyon sa pagdami ng fake FB accounts
Ipinag-utos ng The Department of Justice (DOJ) ang pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa biglang pagdami ng pekeng Facebook accounts.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, paiimbestigahan niya ang insidente sa Office of Cybercrime ng DOJ.
Inatasan din nito ang naturang tanggapan na makipag-ugnayan sa cybercrime units ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Philippine National Police (PNP).
Ani Guevarra, nakababahala ang nangyari ngayong nahaharap ang bansa sa public health crisis.
Una nang iniulat ng University of the Philippines (UP), De La Salle University, the Philippine Normal University, at Polytechnic University of the Philippines na marami sa kanilang estudyante ang nagkaroon ng duplicated accounts.
Karamihan sa kanila ay pawang kritikal sa administrasyong Duterte.
