Palasyo, pinag-iingat ang OFWs na pauwi sa kani-kanilang lalawigan
Pinaalalahanan ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang mga overseas Filipino workers na maging maingat habang pauwi sa kani-kanilang mga probinsya.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ay para makaiwas sa sakit na COVID-19.
Pinanindigan ng Palasyo na bago pa man pauuwiin sa mga probinsya, sumasalang muna sa COVID-19 test ang mga OFW.
“COVID-19 testing reflects the person’s health status only at the time of testing. Between the time a test is conducted and the time of arrival of an OFW,” pahayag ni Roque.
Pinaalalahanan din ng Palasyo ang local government officials na maglatag ng dagdag seguridad para makaiwas sa COVID-19.
“Having said this, we remind everyone to exercise all the precautions advised by health authorities during travel. Additional safety measures at the provincial or LGU level are likewise necessary to ensure that one is truly healthy and devoid of COVID19,” pahayag ni Roque.
