UP, nagbabala sa mga estudyante at alumni ukol sa mga pekeng Facebook account
Binalaan ng University of the Philippines (UP) ang kanilang mga estudyante at alumni na mag ingat sa pekeng Facebook account.
Base sa advisory ng UP, nakarating na sa kanilang kaalaman na may binuong pekeng Facebook account.
Hinihimok ng pamunuan ng UP ang kanilang community na suriin kung nabiktima sila ng mga pekeng account at i-report sa Data Protection Officer ng Facebook.
“UP has received reports that fake or dummy Facebook accounts have been created for UP students and alumni. We urge the members of the UP community to check their names and accounts and to make the proper report to the Data Protection Officer of Facebook,” pahayag ng UP.
Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang UP System Data Protection Officer sa National Privacy Commission para masawata ang pagkalat ng pekeng accounts.
