Sobrang ibinayad sa water bill ng pcustomers dapat isauli ng Manila Water at Maynila ayon kay Pangulong Duterte
Walang problema kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kung ibibigay ang water concession agreement sa Manila Water at Maynilad Water Services.
Ayon sa Pangulo, rerebyuhin niya ang naturang mga kasunduan.
Pero pakiusap ng pangulo sa Manila Water at Maynilad na pag-aari ng mga Ayala at Pangilinan ibalik sa taumbayan ang sobrang ibinayad sa water bill.
“I will review the contracts that are proposed by the government panel to the Ayala and the Pangilinan consortium na… Ako, okay na ako basta mabawi lang ng pera ang tao even in installment sa ano ninyo but you have to make some amends,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, kaya lang niya minura noon sina Pangilinan at Ayala dahil sa galit.
Pero humingi na siya ng paumanhin sa mga ito.
“Nagkalma ako kasi whether I like it or not, water is very important in our lives. So okay na lang ako but iyong nawala sa tao, kung ano ang nawala sa kanila, that has to be paid back, whether in installments over a period of years, but you have to return the money to the people. Just give us a contract that is fair and also a fair of the return of the money of the people,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, kapag hhindi pa rin naayos ang kontrata, maaring ituloy pa rin ng pamahalaan ang pagsasampa ng kaukulang kaso laban sa mga Ayala at Pangilinan.
