Mahigit 22,900 na OFWs napauwi na sa mga lalawigan – DOTr
Sa loob ng nagdaang mga araw umabot sa mahigit 22,900 na Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) ang naserbisyuhan sa ilalim ng ‘Hatid Probinsya para sa mga OFWs’ Program.
Ayon sa datos ng Department of Transportation (DOTr), umabot na sa 22,918 ang napauwing OFWs sa kanilang mga lalawigan.
Sa nasabing bilang, 6,275 ang naihatid by land, 11,786 ang bumiyahe sa pamamagitan ng eroplano mula May 25 hanggang June 4.
Habang 4,857 naman ang bumiyahe sa pamamagitan ng barko mula April 27 hanggang June 4.
Ang “Hatid Probinsya para sa mga OFWs” ay pinangungunahan ng DOTr, DOLE, OWWA, CAAP, PCG, DILG, PPA, OTS, MIAA, LTO at LTFRB.
