Aprubado na sa 3rd and final reading ng Kamara ang House Bill No. 6920, oo “The COVID-19 Unemployment Reduction Economic Stimulus (CURES) Act of 2020.
Sa ilalim ng panukalang batas maglalaan ng P1.5 trillion para mapondohan ang mga infrastructure projects sa health, education, agriculture, at local roads/infrastructure livelihood sectors.
Kabilang sa infrastructure projects ang pagtatayo ng barangay health centers, municipal at city hospitals, digital equipment para sa COVID-19 testing, telemedicine services para sa post-harvest facilities, trading centers, at farm-to-market roads.
Makatutulong din ang panukalang batas sa para sa pagpapatupad ng “Balik Probinsya Program” na layong ma-decongest ang Metro Manila.
