151 dayuhan arestado sa ilegal na operasyon ng POGO sa QC

Arestado ang 151 dayuhan matapos silang mahuling nagtatrabaho sa Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO) sa Quezon City na hindi rehistrado.

Ayon sa National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), sinalakay ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng Regional Special Operations Group, Kamuning station ng Quezon City Police District, at Criminal Investigation and Detection Group ang kumpanya sa Scout Lascano Street sa Barangay Laging Handa Miyerkules (June 3) ng gabi.

Ito ay matapos na makatanggap ng tip mula sa isang confidential informant na ilegal ang operasyon ng POGO.

Nagsagawa muna ng surveillance sa lugar bago gawin ang pagsalakay.

Nakumpiska ang sumusunod na mga gamit:

• 2,012 cellphones
• 149 computer monitors
• 90 computer mouse
• 72 keyboards for computer
• 34 CPUs
• 19 laptops
• 2 printers
• electric tablet
• 20 extension wires
• Wi-Fi and phone
• 3 cable wires
• 2 passports
• assorted IDs;
• 15 uninterrupted power supply union
• 116 foreign currency bills
• 10 router modems

Inaalam pa ng mga otoridad kung ang POGO ay mayroong permit mula sa Business Permit and Licensing Department (BPLD) ng Quezon City.

Hawak na ng Regional Special Operations Group sa Camp Bicutan, Taguig City ang mga suspek.
