Iiral ang curfew mula alas 11:00 ng gabi hanggang alas 5:00 ng umaga.
Ayon kay Mayor Bill de Blasio at GOv. Andrew Cuomo, nagpasya silang magpairal ng curfew dahil sa lumalalang mga protesta, na nagreresulta na sa looting at pagsira ng mga sasakyan.
Mas marami ring pulis ang ipakakalat sa New York City.
Kabilang sa dinagsa ng mga nagpoprotesta ang Time Square at Brooklyn.
