Bagong alituntunin at polisiya sa ilalim ng ‘new normal’ ipatutupad sa lahat ng tanggapan ng PNP

Magpapatupad ng bagong set of guidelines at mga polisiya ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa ilalim ng ‘new normal’.

Ayon kay PNP chief, Police Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa, mayroon silang binuong ‘
Study Group on the New Normal’ na pinamumunan ng ni Chief of Directorial Staff, Police Lieutenant General Cesar Binag.

Ayon kay Gamboa, tinukoy ng binuong study group ang mga sumusunod bilang “key factors” sa ilalim ng ‘new norma’:

1) Adherence to Minimum Health Standards
2) Use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to minimize transmission of disease
3) Revised Deployment Scheme/ Work Schedule
4) Enhanced Personal Knowledge/Competency
5) Enhanced Workspace Infrastructure adustments to PNP workspaces
6) New Equipment and Additional Funding for test kits, PPE, collapsible tents, hospital beds, IT equipment, connectivity, and non-lethal police intervention equipment

Kasabay nito sinabi ni Gamboa na anumang community quarantine ang umiiral sa bawat lugar ay tuloy ang law enforcement functions ng PNP kabilang na ang kampanya kontra krimen, illegal drugs, corruption at terrorism.
