Na-repatriate na overseas Filipinos, umabot na sa higit 31,000 – DFA

Umabot na sa 31,352 na overseas Filipinos (OFs) ang na-repatriate simula nang magpauwi ng mga Filipinong apektado ng COVID-19, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Ayon sa kagawaran, sa nasabing bilang, 20,633 o 65.8 porsyento ang sea-based habang 10,719 o 34.2 porsyento ang land-based.

Kabilang sa datos ang pagdating ng mga overses Filipino worker (OFW) mula sa United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Sinabi ng kagawaran na patuloy pa rin ang repatriation sa mga nais umuwi ng Pilipinas.

Inabisuhan ng DFA ang sinumang OF na nais makauwi ng Pilipinas ay maaaring ipagbigay-alam sa embahada o konsulado sa kanilang lugar.

Base sa Department of Health (DOH) Memo 2020-0200, lahat ng pabalik na OF ay kailangang sumailalim sa pagsusuri at mandatory quarantine sa government-designated facilities o BOQ-approved quarantine hotels habang hinihintay ang resulta ng kanilang test.
