277 na tricycle driver sa Mandaluyong nagpositibo sa Rapid Test

Sa 4,500 na tricycle driver sa Mandaluyong City na naisailalim na sa Rapid Test, 277 ang nagpositibo.

Ang nasabing bilang ng mga tricycle driver ay pawang asymptomatic.

Pero ayon kay Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos, dahil mababa ang accuracy rate ng rapid testing ang mga nagpositibo sa rapid test at sumailalim pa sa confirmatory swabbing test gamit ang RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction).

Sinabi ni Abalos na agad na isinailalim sa swabbing ang 277 tricycle driversna nagpositibo sa Rapid Test.

Kahapon, 42 resulta na ang natanggap ng lokal na pamahalaan at lahat ito ay negatibo.

Hinihintay naman ang resulta ng 235 pang confirmatory test.

Ayon kay Abalos ang tricycle drivers na wala pang RT-PCR test result ay mananatiling naka-isolate at naka-quarantine.

Iginiit din ng alkalde na lahat ng 7,000 tricycle driver sa lungsod ay sasailalim sa rapid test bago mapayagan na bumiyahe.
