Mahigit 980K health workers naserbisyuhan ng libreng sakay ng DOTr

Halos isang miyong health workers na ang naseserbisyuha ng ‘Libreng Sakay sa mga Bayaning Health Workers’ na programa ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Ito ay sa National Capital Region (NCR), at sa Regions 1, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, CAR at CARAGA.

Ang libreng sakay sa iba pang panig ng bansa ay sa pakikipagtulungan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

As of May 28, umabot na sa 982,580 ang kabuuang ridership ng programa, kung saan 250,543 ang total ridership sa NCR-Greater Manila, habang 732,037 naman sa iba pang mga rehiyon.

Maaari pa ring makita ang live location ng mga bus units habang binabaybay ang 20 ruta sa Greater Manila Area dahil sa mga naka-install na GPS location tracker devices sa mga bus.
Ito ay sa pamamagitan ng mobile app na Sakay.ph.

Patuloy ding siniserbisyuhan ng DOTr ang mga medical workers na magmumula sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Stadium, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), at World Trade Center.

Samantala, ayon sa datos ng Road Sector, umabot sa kabuuang bilang na 255 vehicle units ang na-deploy para sa libreng sakay.
