300 Pinoy crew members mula sa Germany, nakauwi na sa bansa
Nakauwi na ng Pilipinas ang mahigit 300 Filipino crew members ng Sea Chefs at TUI Cruises mula Hamburg, Germany noong May 25.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), nakabalik ng bansa ang mga crew member sa pamamagitan ng chartered flight ng TUI Airlines.
Naasistihan ang Filipino crew na bahagi ng libu-libong empleyado ng Sea Chefs at TUI Cruises, ng TUI Staff, Philippine Ambassador to Germany Ma. Theresa Dizon-De Vega, at Labor Attaché Delmer Cruz.
“It has been a very difficult period for all of you and we look forward to the time when you can all come back to work in the cruise industry,” pahayag ni Ambassador Dizon-De Vega sa Filipino crew members.
Nagpasalamat din sa Dizon-De Vega sa mga kumpanya para sa koordinasyon para mapauwi ang mga crew member.
Pinaalalahanan naman ni Labor Attaché Cruz ang mga Filipino na maaari silang makapag-apply sa social amelioration program sa ilalim ng AKAP ng gobyerno sa mga OWWA Regional Office.
