Duque, suportado ang pagsuspinde ng face-to-face classes

Suportado ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ang nais na pagsuspinde ng face-to-face classes sa gitna ng banta ng COVID-19.

Ayon sa kalihim, prayoridad pa rin ang kaligtasan ng mga estudyante sa kasagsagan ng nararanasang pandemya.

Importante aniyang magkaroon muna ng bakuna bago makabalik sa eskwelahan ang mga mag-aaral.

Katuwang aniya ang Department of Education (DepEd) para sa paghahanap ng alternatibong paraan para makapagsagawa ng mga klase kung saan masusunod ang physical distancing.

“We can’t risk children going back until there is a vaccine. Very important po ang bakuna. Together with DepEd we will explore alternative means to modify classes for safe physical distancing. AS LONG AS MINIMUM HEALTH STANDARDS ARE MET, schools can open. If standards are not met, best to wait for vaccine,” pahayag ni Duque.
